Transland Electric Gate Boxes

Elevating Tradition with Modern Innovation

The Electric Gate Box is the natural next step in advancing our legacy of high-quality gate box designs. Transland’s electric gate box retains our traditional gates’ renowned ruggedness and durability while incorporating state-of-the-art electric actuation control.

This innovative gate box seamlessly integrates an electric actuator with the Satloc controller, streamlining the cockpit to just one screen. Additionally, reducing the components decreases the system’s overall weight and complexity.

Quality Manufacturing

Transland electric gate boxes are currently available for Air Tractor and Thrush aircraft. Manufacturing electric gate boxes for other aircraft is available; speak with your dealer about specific needs and aircraft options.

Key Features:

  • All Electric—No Hydraulics: This innovative system eliminates the need for hydraulics, relying entirely on electric mechanisms and reducing maintenance time with fewer components.

  • Advanced GPS Integration: The electric gate is fully controlled via the Satloc controller, allowing pilots to manage all functions from a single screen in the cockpit. This integration simplifies operations and enhances user convenience.

  • 1/32″ Door Accuracy: The door system offers precise control with an accuracy of 1/32″, making it ideal for high-precision dry applications.

  • Jam Detection and Resolution: The system includes a jam detection feature that can identify obstructions in the door mechanism. The pilot can use the jitter function to remove blockages for smooth operation even in challenging conditions.

  • Wet Lock and Dry Lock: Different door position settings exist for wet and dry conditions. This flexibility provides optimal performance across different application scenarios.

  • Adjustable Door Speed: Door speed can be adjusted to meet specific requirements, providing enhanced control and adaptability.

  • Manual Clean-Out Switch: A manual clean-out switch is available for maintenance. Which can simplify the cleaning process for optimal performance.

  • Arm Switch: The arm switch feature enables the system to be armed and ready for operation. This provides an additional layer of safety and readiness, allowing the system to be quickly activated when needed.

Integration of Satloc Falcon Pro & G4 with Transland Electric Gate Boxes

Using the Satloc Falcon Pro or G4, a user can choose from 26 preset profiles. These single profiles include different formulations of Urea and Sulfate mixtures, various Dry Rice applications, and specialized profiles for Wheat Seed.

Each profile is designed with specific application rates (lb/acre or kg/ha) and spread widths (ft. or m) to optimize the effectiveness of the application for different crops and field conditions. Pilots and agronomists can utilize these presets as a base to create customized profiles that best suit their unique crop and soil requirements.

Customizable Dry Profiles: Save Time

Our customers are thrilled with the ability to craft, save, and reuse dry profiles for different crops. Imagine setting up your application for a mix of 45 pounds of wheat and radish, fine-tuning the settings to perfection, and then… simply saving that profile for future use. This is not just a feature; it’s advanced aerial application software.

Tailored Applications: Variable Rate, Constant Rate, Constant Rate Poly

With the Satloc Falcon Pro and G4 GPS systems, you’re in control with the flexibility to handle variable rate, constant rate, and constant rate poly applications. This means you can adapt to varying field conditions, crop needs, and application requirements with ease and precision.

Effortless Operation: Set Once, Apply Anytime

The beauty of the Transland electric gate with Satloc Falcon Pro and Satloc G4 GPS systems rests in their simplicity and efficiency. “Once you name the profile, returning to it for another round of application is incredibly easy. I have all my settings for radishes saved, eliminating the need to reset them for each use. This not only saves time but also reduces the margin for error, ensuring consistent application across the board,” explained another satisfied user.

Why Choose Transland Electric Gate Boxes?

  • Precision: Our electric gate delivers an impressive 1/32” door accuracy with our Satloc controllers. This level of control ensures that materials are dispensed efficiently, helping reduce waste and save costs.

  • Adaptable: Transland electric gate supports variable rate, constant rate, and constant rate poly applications. It also offers wet (latched) and dry lock (soft-latched) door position settings. This versatility ensures that our gate can be adjusted to meet specific application requirements.

  • Ease of Use: Maintenance and ease of use have been central to the design of our electric gate. Features like manual clean-out and adjustable door speed make operation straightforward and ensure that maintaining peak performance is hassle-free.

  • Safety: Our electric gate’s jettison over-ride capability, manual operation option with a dump handle, jam detection, adjustable door speed, and arm switch features provide pilots with essential control and safety mechanisms, ensuring peace of mind during operations.

The shift to a total electric system eliminates the complexities and maintenance demands associated with hydraulics, offering a cleaner, more reliable, and environmentally friendly solution.

Why Convert from Manual to Electric?

Converting to an electric system allows for easier and faster operation of the gate box. Minimal physical effort is required to operate the gate box, allowing pilots to focus on flying and reducing physical strain. Electric conversion kits are ideal for anyone looking to enhance the functionality of their existing manual gate box system.

With features like 1/32″ door accuracy, electric gates provide precise control, essential for applications requiring exact measurements. Operators can adjust the speed of the gate to match specific needs, improving overall efficiency. Using the Satloc GPS unit for control reduces screens in the cockpit and simplifies management.

The Transland electric gate box conversion kits include all the necessary components from a manual gate box to an electric gate box system. Our conversion kits are designed to be compatible with any Transland manual gate box of the specified size. The conversion process is an efficient and straightforward setup.
