These systems allow operators to reduce overall boom width to meet application regulations while maintaining the ability to fine-tune spray coverage on the right side of the aircraft.

With the 50% or 60% boom shut-off engaged, pilots can operate with a shortened effective boom width to comply with label restrictions and drift mitigation requirements. The right-hand shut-off provides additional control for trimming along field edges, waterways, roads, or other sensitive boundaries where precise spray placement is critical.
