This weekend (August 28-30, 2015) will be Hotter N Hell in Transland’s home town of Wichita Falls, Texas! It is the annual Hotter N Hell 100 which is the largest century cycling event in the country. Cyclists from all over the globe converge on Wichita Falls to ride up to 100 miles in typical Texas heat. The forecast for this weekend calls for a high of 103 degrees and over 12,000 cyclists take part each year.
Riders can sign up for 10K, 25 miles, 50 miles, 100K or 100 miles. The weekend also features off-road trail rides, criteriums, and a large consumer show with hundreds of vendors showing and selling the latest cycling and athletic products.
Two riders from Transland, Roberto Rodriguez and Craig Shrum (pictured below) will both be riding this weekend. They will take advantage of one of the shorter routes available.
